Law Offices Of SRIS, P.C. is a United States law firm with an international clientele. Because this site is read from many countries, this page sets out plainly who is admitted where, what the firm does and does not do under foreign law, and the advertising disclosures required by the jurisdictions in which the firm’s principal is admitted.

Bar admissions
Bar admission attaches to an individual attorney, not to the firm as an entity. Mr. Sris, Owner and Founder of Law Offices Of SRIS, P.C. and a former prosecutor, is admitted to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, New Jersey, and New York.
He is not admitted to practice the law of any jurisdiction outside the United States. He does not appear before non-United States courts, does not sign pleadings under non-United States law, and does not issue legal opinions on questions of non-United States law.
How foreign-law matters are handled
No United States attorney at this firm practises foreign law. Where a matter turns on the substantive law of another jurisdiction, that part of the matter is handled by counsel admitted by the relevant bar authority in that jurisdiction.
Those attorneys serve as Of Counsel and contract directly with the firm. They are admitted in their own jurisdictions and are not admitted in any United States state bar. Their work is limited to matters of the law of their own jurisdiction and to serving as liaison with the firm’s United States-licensed attorneys. The Of Counsel attorney engaged on a matter is named and disclosed to the client at the point of retainer.
Where your matter touches United States law — including United States tax, immigration, regulatory compliance, and asset structuring on the United States side — Mr. Sris can advise on those aspects directly, subject to engagement and conflict clearance.
Where the firm has no standing Of Counsel relationship in a jurisdiction, a matter is either coordinated from the United States with in-jurisdiction counsel retained on the client’s engagement letter, or declined.
Coverage is not admission
This site describes jurisdictions in which the firm coordinates matters. Coordinating work that touches a jurisdiction is not the same as being admitted to practise there. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim of admission in any jurisdiction other than those listed above for Mr. Sris individually.
No attorney-client relationship until engagement
Contacting the firm through this website, by telephone, or by email does not create an attorney-client relationship. No attorney-client relationship exists until conflicts have been cleared, a written engagement letter has been executed by both parties, and any required retainer has been received. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information before that point.
